Prediction

Author's Note: I wrote a short ending of how I think Gool by Maurice Gee will end.

Sal and Mond raced to the top of the mountain. "Hurry!" Xantee yelled.

"Were trying!" Mond yelled back.

The gool was approaching them, slowly at first, but getting faster and faster. When Sal and Mond reached the top, they shone their light magnifiers at the two stars. They heard a loud mew and the gool diminished into nothing. 'Yes!" Sal and Mond said in unison. :We did it!"

Back at their home, the grey fog dissapeared from Henri's neck. "Wha?...' Henri muttered.

"Your alive!" Pearl said and hugged him.
